Does SAE Fraternity Have A Racist Culture

In March of 2015 members of the Oklahoma chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity were caught on video singing a chant that was demeaning to African Americans. The racist overtones of the chant contained the use of the N word as well as referencing the lynching of black men.  This act put the fraternity in the national spotlight and further investigations have shown that this is not the first time members of this fraternity have been accused of racist activities. While it can’t be assumed that every member of the fraternity is racist the question we ask here at Practical learning online is: Does a racist culture exist within the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity or is this  an isolated incident?  Pract The Facts and discuss what you think about this issue.
